APC Sets October 22 Deadline for Tinubu Support Groups’ Registration
The APC Presidential Campaign Council has opened an online registration portal for support groups backing President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, requiring both new and previously registered groups to sign up by October 22.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has given support groups backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid until October 22, 2026, to register on its newly launched online portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The registration exercise opened on October 17 and is intended to bring the various groups and volunteer networks supporting Tinubu under a coordinated campaign structure.
The Director of the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Silas Agara, announced the initiative at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday, October 18.
Agara said all groups and volunteer networks working for Tinubu’s re-election must complete the registration process within the stipulated period, regardless of whether they had previously registered with the APC or another campaign organisation.
He explained that the exercise would enable the directorate to verify participating groups, assess their geographical spread and organisational capacity, and establish a central database to improve coordination and nationwide engagement.
“Our objective is to build a unified mobilisation structure that is organised, accountable, responsive and prepared for the demands of the campaign ahead,” Agara said.
The registration portal is available at pccsupportgroups.com.
Agara said support groups played an important role in connecting the party and its campaign organisation with Nigerians through community engagement, professional associations, interest groups and volunteer networks.
He added that the directorate would coordinate the groups, strengthen their organisational capacity and ensure their activities complemented the broader objectives of the APC presidential campaign.
According to Agara, the campaign’s mobilisation efforts would focus on communicating the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration under its Renewed Hope Agenda.
He cited the removal of the petrol subsidy, foreign exchange reforms, tax reforms and initiatives such as the Nigerian Education Loan Fund among the policies the campaign intends to highlight.
The directorate also urged support group leaders and members to take the campaign’s message to communities, workplaces, markets and neighbourhoods, while promoting constructive dialogue and responsible engagement.
The registration drive forms part of the APC’s organisational preparations for the 2027 general elections, as the party seeks to establish a more structured network of support organisations ahead of the campaign period.
With the October 22 deadline approaching, eligible groups have been urged to complete their registration within the announced window.
