Poco Lee’s UK Trial Adjourned to February 2027
UK court adjourns Poco Lee’s plea and trial preparation hearing to February 2027 after the charge sheet was unavailable.
A UK court has adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, to February 8, 2027.
According to BBC News Pidgin, the case came up at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, but Poco Lee did not enter a plea because the charge sheet was unavailable.
The court subsequently fixed February 8, 2027, for the next plea and trial preparation hearing. He is expected to indicate at that hearing whether he pleads guilty or not guilty to the charges against him.
The trial has also been scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.
The entertainer was reportedly granted bail on September 11, following his first appearance before the court. His initial plea and trial preparation hearing had been scheduled for September 15.
The proceedings relate to five sexual-offence charges, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is a preliminary court proceeding during which the defendant’s plea is addressed and arrangements for the trial are considered.
Poco Lee remains presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
