Ahead of 2027 Elections, Chima Amadi Welcomes Kingsley Uju and Others to APP
APP senatorial candidate Chima Amadi has welcomed Kingsley Uju, Boma Goodhead and Alozie Munachi Ikechi to the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Senatorial Candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) for Imo East Senatorial District, Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD, has formally welcomed the immediate past Member of the House of Representatives for Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju, into the Action Peoples Party.
Rt. Hon. Uju, who represented the constituency in the 9th National Assembly, is the APP candidate for Oguta/Ohaji-Egbema/Oru West Federal Constituency in the forthcoming January 16, 2027 National Assembly elections. Mazi Amadi described his decision to contest under the platform of the APP as a significant development for the party and the people of Oguta/ Ohaji-Egbema/ Oru West Federal Constituency, noting that his legislative experience, political maturity and extensive grassroots engagement would constitute a valuable addition to the party’s growing political strength.
Amadi expressed confidence that the participation of Rt. Hon. Uju in the forthcoming elections would further strengthen the prospects of the Action Peoples Party in Imo State. He described him as an experienced and grassroots-oriented politician who possesses a firm understanding of the challenges confronting the people, the responsibilities of legislative representation and the demands of effective public service.
In a similar development, the APP Senatorial Candidate also welcomed Rt. Hon. Boma Goodhead and Hon. Alozie Munachi Ikechi, both serving Members of the House of Representatives, as candidates of the Action Peoples Party. Rt. Hon. Good Goodhead represents Akuku-Toru/Asari-Toru Federal Constituency of Rivers State, while Hon. Ikechi represents the people of Obingwa/Ugwunagbo/Osisioma Federal Constituency of Abia State. Mazi Amadi described their decision to identify with the party as a further indication of the growing confidence in the APP platform.
According to him, the increasing number of experienced political actors and serving legislators identifying with the Action Peoples Party reflects the expanding visibility, credibility and acceptance of the party across different constituencies. He maintained that the development further strengthens the position of APP as a platform for Nigerians seeking responsible, effective and people-oriented representation, while demonstrating the party’s growing relevance in the nation’s political landscape.
Mazi Amadi assured Rt. Hon. Kingsley Uju, Rt. Hon. Boma Goodhead and Hon. Alozie Munachi Ikechi of the continued cooperation and solidarity of the leadership and members of the party at all levels.
